psychopharmacology for medical students

In this brief course on psychopharmacology for medical students and trainee doctors we utilize a case to illustrate some important points.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Briefly describe the actions of serotonin specific reuptake inhibitors
  • List common evidence-based indications for using SSRIs
  • Describe clinically important interactions between SSRIs and other drugs and substances, including symptoms, signs and the underlying mechanisms of the interactions


You can try the first few modules without enrolling (but won’t be able to take any quizzes).

Enrolling in this course will enable you to undertake the quizzes, add and respond to comments more easily and print of a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
